We are delighted to be supporting South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue.
Chaplains visit the stations on a regular basis, building relationships with the staff, having a coffee and a chat, and being available if anyone wants to talk about anything in more depth. Station and Watch Managers know that they can encourage staff to approach the Chaplain with anything that concerns them, particularly if they need to process after a difficult shift or series of incidents, knowing that it is confidential. Chaplains know that they have the back-up of our Professional Volunteer Listeners who can meet staff on a pre-arranged basis. We are available to provide similar support to any organisations within the Public Sector.
The provision of an independent chaplaincy and listening service creates a valuable extra level of support for all our staff.
